Scott Brown

Close to a thousand people came to Lenzi's on Saturday, January 30th to meet and greet the newest United States Senator-Elect Scott D. Brown.  Mr. Brown's first comment as he took the microphone was, "Wow! What a great crowd this is!"  And it was...
An affectionate gathering of voters from Dracut and surrounding communities had the opportunity to see this country's hottest political personality up close and personal.  Mr. Brown did not disappoint.
After brief opening remarks thanking the crowd for their great support, Scott said he would like to greet each voter by shaking hands with as many as possible.  Scott did just that for the next two hours while allowing picture-taking & signing.  Owner Mike Lenzi was on stage with Scott, pleased to host this memorable event.  Complimentary hors d'oeuvres, coffee, hot chocolate and tasty desserts were offered to all the guests.
Among the notable guests were: State Senators Susan Tucker and Steve Panagiotakos, State Representatives David Nangle and Jim Miceli, Lowell School Committee Member John Leahy, Dracut's Sheila Richardson and Dracut's Ogonowski Family.
Mike Lenzi's general comments included the pride he felt to have been chosen by Scott Brown and his committee to host this event.  Perhaps Lenzi's was chosen because of its excellence in professional staffing, which has gained a fine reputation in the New England area.  The voters saw class when they chose Scott Brown, and Brown saw class when he chose Lenzi's.
Mr. Scott Brown is a dynamic personality with a keen "way about him" that resonated throughout the crowd.  What we've seen of him on TV was exactly what we saw live in person on January 30th.  Along with many in our great country we are grateful that this man, with a strong family and strong convictions, will help us become a stronger nation.
A new beginning awaits us in 2010, and that new beginning was hosted at Lenzi's Catering in Dracut, Massachusetts.
